Beth and Jake welcomed sweet baby Henrik into the world a few weeks ago! Baby snuggles are just the best – especially when they are your friend’s little ones! I just love in-home newborn sessions as well, as you get to photograph people in their comfort zone where they feel safe and relaxed. Here he is at 5 days old…sigh…you are so loved little man!

I’ve been photographing the K family since July 2012 and I truly enjoy watching their family grow and change. First with Noah’s 1 year pics, then Jillian as an infant, skip forward a few sessions to the latest one…which might just be my fave so far. Their personalities are really showing in these pics…they have so much love for each other!
There are some editing sessions where I find myself smiling the entire time – this was undoubtedly one of those. This glowing mama-to-be fit right in with the beautiful fall colors and natural, warm light. I can’t wait to welcome this baby into the world come December! I met the Kelly Family almost 3 years ago, when Braedyn was 9 months old. Then, a few months later, I got the pleasure of meeting boy #2, Tate. Fast forward to last weekend, when I met Kirk, who was just 7 weeks old. The boys (minus sleepy Kirk) had plenty of contagious energy…needless to say I was tired at the end of our session. But this first photo made it all worthwhile….
